Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 18, 2026
Last Updated: October 3, 2026

Believe the Grind LLC respects the privacy of users of our mobile applications. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled by each Believe the Grind LLC application. It describes the features available in current versions and the Android version of More Than Gains being prepared for release.

More Than Gains

App Records and Local Storage

Information entered or generated within the app—including workout, food, nutrition, weight, fasting, walking or running, prayer, gratitude, Bible reflection, spiritual goal, and routine information—is stored locally on your device.

These records are not automatically uploaded to Believe the Grind LLC or Firebase. Separate online features, such as food barcode lookup and Android support submissions, transmit the information described below.

Depending on your device settings and operating system, local app data may be included in device backups managed by Apple or Google. These backups are governed by your device settings and the applicable provider’s policies.

Location and Motion Data

The Walking/Running Tracker uses location and motion data after you start an activity and grant the relevant permissions.

Location data is used to calculate distance traveled. Motion data is used to count steps. During an active activity, location tracking may continue when the app is in the background or the phone is locked so that distance can be calculated.

More Than Gains does not save or transmit your precise GPS coordinates or walking or running route. Only the resulting activity summary—including activity type, duration, distance, steps, and date—is saved locally on your device.

You can deny or revoke location and motion access through your device’s Settings. Disabling these permissions may prevent the tracker from calculating distance or counting steps.

Food Barcode Lookup and Camera Access

If you choose to scan a food barcode, camera access is used to read the barcode. On Android, scanning is provided through Google’s code scanner interface.

When you scan or type a barcode and request a food lookup, the barcode is sent to Open Food Facts to retrieve product and nutrition information. The request includes technical information needed for the network connection, such as your IP address and an app-identifying request header. Your food log, weight history, and other app records are not included in that lookup request.

For information about Open Food Facts’ privacy practices, visit Open

Notifications

If enabled by the user, More Than Gains schedules local notifications for daily reminders and scripture messages. These reminders are scheduled and delivered on the device; they are not sent through Firebase Cloud Messaging.

You can change reminder settings within the app and manage notification permission through your device’s Settings.

Support and Feedback — Android

If you choose to send feedback through the Android app, Believe the Grind LLC receives:

  • The feedback category you select, such as Bug Report, Suggestion, or Other.
  • The message you enter.
  • The app version and build number.
  • The platform, identified as Android.
  • The submission date and time.
  • A randomly assigned Firebase user identifier.

A submission status is also stored to help manage support requests.

The Android support feature uses Google Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore to authenticate submissions and store messages. It does not require you to enter a name, email address, or password. Firebase creates a randomly assigned user identifier that may link multiple submissions from the same app installation.

This does not make a submission completely anonymous. Your message may contain identifying information, and Firebase may process technical information, including IP addresses and user-agent information, for authentication, security, and abuse prevention.

We use support messages to investigate problems, review suggestions, and improve the app. Messages are accessible to authorized personnel who manage the app and to Google as needed to provide the Firebase services.

The support feature does not automatically attach your app logs or journal records. Anything you type into the message will be sent. Please avoid including passwords, payment information, sensitive health information, or private journal content.

The form does not automatically provide us with your email address or another way to reply. If you need a direct response, you can contact us using the email address listed below.

Accounts and Cloud Storage

More Than Gains does not require a personal account to use its fitness and faith features. The Android support feature uses a Firebase anonymous authentication account internally, as described above.

Support messages are stored in Firebase separately from your locally stored fitness and faith records. Firebase is not currently used to back up or synchronize those records.

Data Retention and Deletion

You can manage local records using the deletion options available in your version of the app. Clearing app storage or uninstalling the app generally removes its local data, although device backups or restore settings may retain or restore copies.

Deleting local records, clearing app storage, or uninstalling the app does not delete support messages already submitted to Firebase.

There is currently no automatic expiration configured for Android support messages. They remain stored until we delete them. To request deletion of a support submission or its associated Firebase anonymous account, contact believethegrindllc@trustmygrind.com. Include information that helps us locate the submission, such as its approximate date and a description or copy of the message. Because the form does not require contact details, we may need additional information to identify the relevant records.

Analytics, Advertising, and Sale of Information

More Than Gains does not currently use third-party advertising, advertising tracking technologies, or analytics services. Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore are used for the Android support feature, rather than advertising or behavioral analytics.

Believe the Grind LLC does not sell personal information handled through More Than Gains.

Kingston’s Kicks

Accounts and Authentication

Kingston’s Kicks uses Google Firebase Authentication to provide account creation, sign-in, password reset, account management, and authentication services.

When you create or use an account, information such as your email address and a unique user identifier is associated with your account.

Firebase Authentication may also process information such as passwords, user-agent information, and IP addresses as necessary to provide authentication, account security, and abuse-prevention services.

Sneaker Collection Data

Information you choose to add to Kingston’s Kicks may include sneaker brand, model, colorway, shoe size, notes, album information, and other collection information you voluntarily enter.

This information is used to provide the application’s sneaker collection and organization features.

Sneaker Photos

Users may choose to add photos of their sneakers.

Sneaker photos may be uploaded to and stored using Google Firebase Cloud Storage to support the application’s collection and album-sharing features.

Photos are uploaded when you choose to add or change a sneaker photo.

Album Sharing

Kingston’s Kicks allows users to share sneaker albums with other registered users.

When you share an album, information necessary to provide the sharing feature may be stored using Google Firebase Cloud Firestore. This may include album information, sneaker information, sneaker photo references, account identifiers, and email addresses associated with the sender and recipient.

Access to shared albums is controlled through authenticated user accounts and the application’s Firebase security rules.

Users may stop sharing an album. Recipients may remove shared albums from their accounts. Deleting an owned album also removes its shared copies. The sneakers in the owner’s collection remain unless they are separately deleted.

Feedback and Suggestions

If you choose to use the Feedback & Suggestions feature, Kingston’s Kicks may store your account identifier, email address, selected feedback category, feedback message, and submission date.

This information is used to review suggestions, bug reports, and other feedback related to Kingston’s Kicks.

Account and Data Deletion

Kingston’s Kicks provides an in-app option to permanently delete your account.

When account deletion is successfully completed, Kingston’s Kicks is designed to delete your Firebase user profile and authentication account, applicable Firestore data, stored sneaker photos, shared-album records associated with your account, and locally stored sneaker and album information associated with your account.

Account deletion cannot be undone.

Third-Party Services

Kingston’s Kicks uses Google Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage for Firebase, to provide authentication, database, sharing, and photo-storage functionality.

Information processed through these services may be processed by Google as necessary to provide, secure, and maintain the Firebase services.

Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

Kingston’s Kicks does not currently use third-party advertising or advertising tracking technologies.

Believe the Grind LLC does not sell personal information collected through Kingston’s Kicks.

Firebase and International Processing

Where our applications use Firebase, Google processes information to provide the relevant authentication, database, or storage services. Firebase Authentication processes data in the United States. Other Firebase services may process information in locations supported by Google’s infrastructure, subject to the service and its configuration.

For more information, review Firebase Privacy and Security and Google’s Privacy Policy.

Children’s Privacy

Believe the Grind LLC applications are not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If we become aware that personal information from a child has been collected improperly, we will take appropriate steps to address it. You can contact us using the email address below to report a concern.

Data Security

Believe the Grind LLC takes reasonable measures to protect information handled through our applications. Features that use Firebase rely on authentication and security rules to help control access to cloud-stored information. Firebase encrypts data in transit, and its Authentication and Cloud Firestore services also encrypt stored data.

However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Believe the Grind LLC may update this Privacy Policy as our applications, services, and features evolve. The Last Updated date will reflect changes to this policy.

If future versions introduce features or services that materially change how information is collected, used, stored, or shared, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
